The combination of the tactile rubber and the precise steel lines makes for a pen that is going to really make an impression. The fountain pen has a special ink feeder system for improved writing. The barrel and cap are made of a black rubber-like surface with diamond cut lines and highly polished platinum-plated fittings.. The famous Montblanc white star on the top of the cap appears to float in its dome of clear acrylic. The Starwalker has a hand-crafted, rhodium plated 14 ct. gold nib and takes the standard Montblanc ink cartridge.
